3rd Grade football Playoffs!

Slade's football team made it to the playoffs!  We were ranked number 3 out of 16 teams.  Our first playoff game was against Azle.  It was such a close game.  We would score, they would score, and finally we had to go into overtime.  We ended up winning 21-20!  It was so much fun!  Since we won, we had to play White Settlement.  We were so nervous because we had already lost to them 20-0.  But, we came out fighting and won!  We held them, they didn't even score. We won 25-0!  It has been a fun week of practice because of day light savings time, we have been practicing at the Middle School football fields under the lights.  Slade thinks it is pretty cool.  Since we won, we are now going to the Super Bowl!  It is really just the last game of the tournament, so I don't know why they call it the Super Bowl, it is more like the district championship.  We have to play the other Aledo team!  They have not lost since 1st grade. It is going to be a good game!
