Meet the teacher 2014

Slade had meet the teacher today. For first grade he got Mrs. Getz. He was so excited when the post card came in the mail. Brant was so jealous, he grabbed the postcard out of Slade's hand and tried to hide it.
When we got there, he was so excited to see his friends that were in his class. His little girlfriend, Kayleigh Abbott is in his class, and they are soo cute. I forgot to get a picture of him and Mrs. Getz. We remembered when we were waking out to the car. Of course, Slade and Brant were fighting with each other on the way out, and Slade walked right into a car side mirror.

Brant went with us to meet the teacher and all he wanted to do was go to the library and see the books.

First T-ball practice

Brant had his first T-ball practice this week.  He has never been more excited. We had to get to the field early, and he asked Slade if he could borrow his bat bag.

When we got there, I told Slade and Brant to go warm up. Slade would throw Brant the ball and then Branr would scream, "it's going to be a LONG bomb!"
Of course he would throw it and it would go no where near Slade. Slade would get mad, and then finally he said he was not playing with him anymore. It was ok, because Brant's friend Grant came and they attempted to warm up together.

One of the moms, told me Brant was really good. It does come natural for him.

Bearcat football camp 2014

Slade went to football came with Billy this summer. He was excited, but then got super nervous when it was time to go. We got there early and Slade stayed with Billy to check it out. Billy ran to the restroom before they were about to start, and Slade lost it. Coach Wood found him almost hyperventilating. He was so nervous about being tackled.  After the first 30 min he was fine and had a great rest of the week. They even had a 7 on 7 game at the end and he got to be the quarter back for a few downs. I love him so much.

We also went to the big kid football camp one evening, and the boys helped billy out by catching the punts the kids were practicing. Brant went to catch one, and it pelted him in the face. He was so tough and brave, he didn't even act like it bothered him.

Cheeze It Challenge!

We've decided to try every kind of cheeze-it. The boys get so excited buying new packages and trying them. So far our favorite is cheddar jack, and Colby. Are not so favorite is baby Swiss. The only ones we have left are Big and Mozzarella.

High heels and baseball

Brant was so cute, we went outside to play T-ball and he came out in my high heels. He hit about five balls with my high heels on and then he took them off. He is just so funny, I don't know why he did that.  He always makes me laugh and smile.
