1st Place Rednecks!

Slade's coach pitch team won 1st place this season. It was such a fun season. Slade played pitcher and even 2nd base a few times. We had the tournament this weekend, and we made it through by the skin of our teeth.  Slade had a great game Friday night, but the first game Saturday he did not do so hot. He was 0-4, and he was upset!!!  It was funny because the other team had music going and would play a little song when the kid was coming up to bat. Slade was at pitcher and he would do a little dance by shaking his hips... It made Billy crazy! The 2nd game, he got it together and did great.  

Scoop Me

Slade has won two scoop me gift cards from his coach pitch team this year. He won one for hitting every time he was up to bat and getting four outs during the game. Coach pitch is really coming along. He loves baseball. We took him and Brant to scoop me and they both got chocolate ice cream. Then they had to sit on the big chair.

Movies with Mom!

My heart is full of love for my sweet Slader-tot. Tonight we had Movies with Mom at his school. It was so fun and special. What a cool thing that his school does. We watched The Croods, and they  had a concession stand were you could buy pizza, popcorn, candy, and drinks.  We got a piece of pizza, sprite, sour straws, and popcorn. It was so fun.  We sat by his friends, and I also got to meet a few of his new friends.  

While we were there, Billy took Brant to the coach house and to CC's pizza. He bought him some Nike socks and a football for Slade. When they got home all Brant wanted to do was put on his socks. And he even wanted Slade to put on the socks. He tried to put the football helmet on Slade, but it hit him pretty hard in the head. Slade got mad and punched him twice. They wrapped up the evening by playing football in the living room. I love my boys.
