Slade's two bottom teeth started to get very very wiggly!! We were so excited, but he was not. Billy of course did not help, every day when he got home he would tell him that we were pulling the tooth tonight. Slade would just get so scared. But, finally one night, the tooth was soo loose that as soon as Billy put the string around it, the tooth just fell out!!! The same thing happened with his other bottom tooth. Now, his too bottom teeth are starting to come through, but they do not look like they are coming in straight... I guess braces might be in his future! The tooth fairy left him $1 for the first tooth and then $5 for the 2nd. Slade is soo wonderful! I am so glad God gave him to us!!

Basketball Shooter
This Christmas my parents got the boys a basketball goal. Slade and Brant are so excited, and we had not even put it up yet. Brant keeps on calling it the "basketball shooter" and tries to bring it inside our house. But, it weighs fifty pounds and he will try to pick it up, and then tell Billy he needs his help. We finally got the basketball shooter up and Brant just could not get the ball anywhere near the goal. So, my mom found this basketball shooter for him. It is just his size. The only problem is that every kid in the neighborhood wants to slam dunk on it.
Wii Time!
Slade and Brant also got a Wii for Christmas. I think it is the best Christmas present ever. We have only had it a month and Brant can work the entire thing. His favorite thing is to make wii characters. For some reason, he likes to make black people... Slade and Brant fight over who gets the 1st remote. They are so funny, they can remember who got it the day before and the instant Slade gets in the car from school, Brant will say, "I get the 1st remote today!" He is a little stinker. Brant is also a pro at the sword fighting and boxing. Slade loves to play dog fight. They are so wonderful!!! Brant is so obsessed with the Wii, he even tries to box things at the grocery store!!
Rodeo Time
It is Stockshow time in Fort Worth! We are fortunate enough to have our next door neighbor, Brian, because he works the rodeo, and got us in for free!! He is a Fort Worth Police officer and he even gave the boys a ride in his car!! They loved it. The boys had fun looking at all the tractors and animals. The rodeo was a little long for Slade, but Brant enjoyed it. He was sitting two seats down from me and I could not get him to move closer to me because he just loved watching the events. After the rodeo, we went to the carnival. I am so proud of Slade, he did all the rides Ty did. I was very nervous because he wanted to do the swings. Not too bad of a ride, but I did not want him to panic. It started out slow and then it got faster. You could see Slade's face change from happy to scared to panic then back to happy again. After he got off, he wanted to go again. He is so brave!!!
