Homecoming Parade

It was the annual homecoming parade in Aledo. The boys were so excited. We even let Slade skip baseball practice that night. When we got to the high school, Slade and Brant were so excited to see the floats. They stuck their heads out the window and yelled and screamed. They especially loved all the candy they got!

Friendly competition

Brant played his really good friend Jake at T-ball this past weekend. He was so excited to see Jake, I think he thought Jake was there to see him play.

They were so cute, every time they ran past each other they would wave to each other and say, " hi Brant" or  "hi Jake."

This weekend Slade played shortstop, and he got his first pop fly! We are so proud of him!

Catcher

Slade got to play catcher this past week in baseball. He looked just like Billy.

It was the craziest game, we battled back from being very behind. It was the last inning and we had two little kids strikeout. Slade was on second and his buddy Carter had just scored. It was now 12 to 12. Our good hitter got up and hit a line drive. And would you not believe, the line drive hit Slade in the foot. That got us the third out and we ended up tying. Slade was so sad.
