Snow!

We woke up to it snowing this morning. Slade was so excited, and he ran into the bedroom and woke up Brant. They love the snow. As we were driving to school they were amazed at how much snow was on the ground. The playground was covered, houses were getting covered, it was beautiful.

We have never been good at sleep training our kids. When Slade was 3 months or so, we attempted to let him cry it out. It was just plain awful and he cried for hours.  I can remember watching the monitor and he would just fall over because he was exhausted and then just pop right back up crying away. When Brant was born, he did a little better, but still sleeps with us. We did not even try to get him to sleep I his own bed... We just gave in from the start.  Slade, now in Kindergarten round 2, sleeps in his own bed, but occasionally he climbs in bed with us. It does not bother us at all. We just are the kinds of people that our kids sleep with us... Oh well.  This picture was the other night and they looked sooo snuggly.
