When I grow up

This morning in Sunday school, Brant told his friend that he was going to be a strong man that could throw things really far when he grew up. Then he went over to the Lego table and lifted it up...

Cowtown 5k

Slade and I ran the Cowtown 5K this morning. He had been practicing for the past two months at school. We got up early and headed for the race. It took us over an hour just to get to the starting line. Traffic was horrible. Slade kept on asking when we were going to be there. We finally made it, and found his friend Coy. Coy and Slade ran the entire time. They only stopped a few times for about one minute of walking. Slade also saw his friend Posy at the starting line and they had a great time dancing to the loud music that was being played. We finished in 39 minutes 58 seconds. Our goal was to finish under 40 minutes. It was so much fun I can't wait until next year.
