Fred the Elf

Fred the Elf came to visit us this Christmas. The boys loved him and they could not wait to get up everyday and find where he was hiding. Here are just a few pictures of his hiding places.
A snow ball fight with some friends!! Slade thought it was hilarious!
He wrapped our Christmas tree.
He just wanted to hang out for a night.
He wanted to play pirates!
This one caught Slade off guard. He could not believe that he was on the lights.
Add Video
This was the first morning. He was taking some friends on a train ride.
Slade and Brant LOVE powered donuts, and so does Fred!
We could not find him one morning, and then we had to leave to go somewhere and here he was hanging out in the car.
This picture is of Fred hanging out in Slade's underwear drawer. The funny part was that he had thrown all of Slade's underwear on the bed.
He was hanging on the fan one morning.
Sleeping in Brant's bed.

It was such a fun Christmas Break, and Fred made it super special! We hope he returns next year!

Time with Daddy

Since football is over Billy is home a lot more. The boys just love him being home. He left one afternoon to go do something and the boys went straight to the window to watch for him. I guess I am now chop sui!
Billy took them to Academy and had them try on football stuff. He is ready for them to play!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went over to my parents. It was a lot of fun. This is a picture of the kid table. Brant had a blast this year. We finished off the night with a big bon fire! We roasted marshmallows and made smores. The kids liked the chocolate the best.
Cowboy Slade!!! We found a pair of wranglers and Slade's cowboy hat. He looked soooo cute!!!!
A picture of his cute booty!

Hair cut!

Billy would not let us cut Brant's hair until football season was over. Brant's hair was CRAZY! He looked like Clay Matthews from the Packers. But, we finally trimmed it a little bit over Thanksgiving Break.
Here he is getting ready for the trim. He did really well, the only part he did not like was when they had to spray his head with water.
During mid cut. The only thing that kept him from crying also was spraying me with the water bottle. I was soaked!!
All finished! He was happy.
After we were done, he was running all over the place!!!

Happy Halloween!

Me and my loves...
Our church always has a carnival and this year was fun! Brant could walk around and Slade LOVES the bounce houses! Billy also got to come this year.

You can barely see Slade going up the slide.
First house! Trick or Treat!
My cute glow-in the dark skeleton! I think he looks like Billy in this picture.
Hey! My name is Brant and I am spooky!
Cousin picture!

Sad times in our life.

October has not been a very good month. Billy's dad "Popa" got diagnosed with cancer on September 6 and then he lost his fight on October 13. Then we lost our sweet little yorkie on October 17. It has been a hard month. This is the last picture of Pickles that I had taken.

We finished our summer off by going to Granbury and ordering ice cream! They boys loved it so much. Slade really enjoys when we drive to football games and we drive through a town that has a courthouse. He calls it the "clock tower." Granbury has one, and he was in heaven. Brant just loved the ice cream.
Brant's hair is sooo curly!! This picture was during a summertime rain shower and it was humid outside. His hair turned into ringlets!!!!
Our boys are wild!! Anything that Slade does, Brant has to copy. It is usually not anything safe. This is the perfect example. They climbed on our bed posts!!
The boys also LOVE Angry Birds. They had a cow when we were at Walmart and they saw the stuffed animals!!
We have a tradition now. We have to make ginger bread houses for every occasion! We had to wait until Brant went to bed because he tried to destroy it! This was our "Spooky House."
Trick or Treat!!! They had to be the same of course. Look at Brant's face. He wants to be just like his big brother!
As much as Brant loves Slade, Slade loves Brant! I found him this book and he wanted to read it immediately and a million times.
Before a Godley game, we went to eat and I told Slade to go throw rocks.... Not very smart... He ended up throwing one like a boomer rang and hitting me right in the head!!! It did not feel good! I learned my lesson.
Brant always gets called a girl, and I ordered two Happy meals from McDonalds, and these are the toys we got... I guess they thought he was a girl.
Grandma and her two Great-grand boys! They love to have her push throughout her building.
My mom watched the boys one day and she fixed them eggs for breakfast! Brant will gobble eggs up, but Slade is not so sure about them

This is just a cute picture from one of the Football games.
Brant is so afraid of this dancing Hank Williams. Billy put his pacifier on it's arm and Brant just cried and cried.
This is just a sweet picture of my Slade-R-Tot.
Brant was just playing in the toy room and we went to check on him and he had put this hat on.
Brant loves to turn the lights on and off, I caught him on the toilet trying to reach the light switch.
The boys started Pre-School this year and this was their first day.
I love this picture because Brant looks too cool for school!
One day after school. Brant is wearing mix matched clothes! He is always soo dirty.
Brant is trying to potty train! He wants to be just like Slade. Of course, Slade wanted to sit on there with him.
