Head Coach!

It has been a crazy week.  Last Monday, Billy got a text asking him about his interest in being a Head Coach for Weatherford ISD.  They asked him to call him back and talk about it.  He called him back and then that night, the Superintendent called Billy and asked him to interview the next day. Billy's interview was at 4:30 and it lasted two hours.  He called me on the way home and said he had a really good feeling about it.  He went in with the attitude, that he was going to let them know what they needed to fix.  Around 7:00, he got a call from the Superintendent and he offered Billy the job!!!  We are so excited.  He had to sign his contract on Saturday, and we all went. Little did we know that they were going to have a press conference and about 35 people were going to be there.  He was sworn in unanimously, and he gave a little speech!  It was so cute.  He got very teary and someone in the audience yelled, "Preach!"  We are so excited for him and can't wait to be a roo!

They gave us a cute little gift basket and Brant was so excited, he wore his new shirt today!

2 Months!

Steel is getting so big! At his 2 month check up he weighed 15 lbs 2 oz, and was 23 1/2 inches long.  Before we went to the appointment, I checked Slade and Brant's stats at 2 months.  Slade was 14' 4 and 26 inches long. Brant was 14'13 and 24 inches long.  Steel is the fattest and shortest.

Steel loves his baths, watching his brothers and being held.  If we put him down he will cry, but pick him up, he is happy!  We have started to take him places, and people love to see him.  We went to church, but he woke up during the service and made cooing noises, so I had to leave and take him out of the sanctuary.  He has also been to Slade's basketball games and will just look around.  He is also sleeping so well.  He loves his baths so much, that around 8:30, he will get fussy and we know he is ready for it.  Then, we will bathe him and feed him. He used to just lay down and suck on his pacifier, but for the past week or so, he has cried and cried if we are not holding him.  It is big crocodile tears too, like he is soooo sad.  He also has started to smile all the time. Sometimes, his little smile is one sided.

The boys are so sweet to him, they love to give him kisses and always will tell me that he is so cute.

State Champs!

Aledo did it again!  State Champs 2016!  I did not get to go to the game because of Steel, but the boys had a blast!  It was such a nerve wracking game.  Aledo won, but it was close.  Steel and I watched the game at my parents because for some reason the game did not play on our TV.  Some black and white movie played. I was so frustrated.  I was in bed with my pajamas with a glass of wine, and then had to high tail it to my parents in freezing cold weather.  By the time I got there it was the 2nd quarter.
