Slade had a really hard game this past weekend. We played Decatur and they are really good. It was tied 0-0 until the 3rd quarter and then Decatur scored!! It was 0-6, and Slade was so into it. We finally scored with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. We went for our extra point and did not make it! It was tied 6-6. We had to go into overtime and the way they do over time is each team lines up on the 10 and gets 4 chances to score. Decatur was first up. We held them! Then we got our turn and scored!!! We won 12-6!! Slade was so pumped!

Team Captain!
Slade got to be team captain for his football game this past weekend. He has been doing so well. He is talking and blocking and just loves to be part of the team. He is such a trooper, he has practice 3 nights a week and he is so funny in the fact that he does not like the conditioning at the end. He does not like running. Billy told me a story about him yesterday that his first practice with his helmet on he called him over from the sidelines. When he got over there, he said Slade had big tears in his eyes. Billy said he was heart broken, but he made him stay out there. I am so proud of him (Slade)

Brant lost his tooth!!!!
September 29, 2016
Brant finally lost his tooth! It is his first tooth to lose. He has been working on it for the past week or so. Last night it was real close to coming out but the floss kept on slipping. He said that this morning Luke told him to twist and pull. And he did, and it came out! He was so excited because he got a treasure chest to put it in. He said tonight he is going to get $$$!!!

Football Pep Rallies!
It is the cutest thing. For every home game, the cheerleaders put on a little pep rally for the football boys. They do a couple of cheers and then give them candy. This week, the football boys got to use shaving cream and put it all over the coaches faces! Billy happened to walk up at just the right time and he volunteered to be one more coach. I don't think he knew what he had just gotten into.
After the shaving cream fight, the boys started to get shaving cream all over each other. Of course Brant and Preston had to get involved. Billy took Slade and Brant to the coach house and they took their shower in the locker room. They were so excited!
Week 29-First week of school
It was the first day of school Monday. We had such a fun weekend. We had abirthday party at pump it up and we also went to splash Kingdom on Sunday to get them tired and exhausted and ready for bed. Brant started kindergarten this year and it made me so sad that first day. They were so cute. We laid out their clothes the night before and they even went to bed early. The next morning Brant got up and he told me he was one step away from going bizerk he was so excited to go to kindergarten. When we part he almost jumped out of my car and ran towards the school. He kept on trying to get away from me, not out of rudeness, but out of lack of patience. He was ready for me to hurry up and walk him to his class. When we got there he hung up his backpack put away his lunch and started working on some Plato at his table. He was so excited. He also loves PE, loves the computer lab and even loves to ride the bus home. This morning he was so upset that I wouldnt let him buy his lunch. Tomorrow he is going to buy steak fingers. Billy and I joke that we have learned more from Bant about Stuard Elementary in the two days he has gone there, then the three years Slade has been there. Slate is having a great year too. He did tell me that on his second day in math all they did was talk about strategies.
