Kindergarten Days...

Brant is so excited about kindergarten. He told us that he was so excited because he got to have the job of lunch count. Lunch count is where Mrs Heitz tallies up the lunches that are being ordered and then he has to walk down to the cafeteria and give the list to the lunch lady. He said he got to bring a friend and so he has picked Luke twice. It has been such a good transition for him, except he has been a little fiesty. Today he fell asleep on the couch. He must of been so tired.

Brant Kinder

Brant has had a great week of kindergarten. He comes home and tells me all about it. This week he has been so excited to get his scooter license, to go to the computer lab, and to go to the library. Oh, and he couldn't wait until Friday because they finally got to start centers. He even has wanted to buy his lunch in the cafeteria. He had to memorize a six digit number and he did it the first day. Some funny things he has told me is that he has a friend named Madden and I asked him what his last name was and he told me it was probably NFL.

28 weeks!

It was the week before school started and it was such a fun week. The boys had camp Runamuck at my parents, they do it every year and it's where they spend the night and they do something fun. This year the boys wanted to have a camp out. So instead of going somewhere and camping they set up tent in their back yard. They had Smore', a fire and told ghost stories!  They ended up sleeping all night long in the tents!  When Slade got up in the morning to go to the restroom he walked outside the tent and there were five deer in the yard with them. Slade said that Brant pushed him off the bed three times during the night. I also had my 28 week appointment this week. The baby was looking great. She said that the baby was measuring ahead.

We also had meet the Bearcats. Which is just where the boys get to go up to the coach house and have all the bearcat football players sign their poster. We also had meet the teacher. Brant got Mrs Heitz and Slade got Mrs Farmer.

Football!!!!!

Slade has started pee wee football this past two weeks. I have never seen him this motivated. The other night he told me he needed to study his plays. He is playing right guard, and from what I can tell, he is to the right of the center. He tries so hard during practice. It is so cute. The other day I took him to practice and we pulled up at 6:28, practice starts at 6:30, and he was so concerned he was not going to make it to the field on time.

He hustled across the field to his team. He also has been trying very hard at practice. He runs hard, hits hard! It is so exciting to watch.

He also has a big bruise on his arm. I just love him to death.

27 weeks

This week has been crazy busy. I had to work every day, Billy started two a days, and Slade started football. I feel like my stomach is gotten huge. It's getting really hard to sleep comfortably and I wake up couple of times each night. Brant is so cute with my belly, he will talk to the baby and it night he prays for the baby and says how much he loves the baby.
Slade did great at football this week. They wore helmets and they had to do tons of drills. He told me that they had to do so many downs and then run across the field at least 10 times. He is loving it though. I got five run-ins, even though they were not very long ones. I still held up to almost 21 miles. The boys went with me today and we did 2 miles. Brant road the go cart and Slade rode his bike.

Our walk around the neighborhood.

The boys love to play with the kids around our neighborhood.  They ask and ask us if they can invite kids over to play.  Slade's friend Caleb lives down the street and the boys are inseparable.  Sometimes to get a little exercise in the boys, I will ask if they want to go and walk around the block.  They love to ride their scooter and throw the tennis ball.  They switch places when we get to Caleb's house. I love them so much!  It helps me get another almost mile in.
