23 weeks-State tournament

It was a fun, exciting week! The boys and I took a little vacation to our friend's ranch out side of Austin.  The boys love to go there.  We swim, fish, play in the creek, stay up late, and have smores.  This year, they put in a lake are bringing in tons of sand for a beach area. They also had a drone that the boys got to see fly all around the ranch. We love it because it is so lasted back. We stayed there Sunday-Wednesday. Then we headed to San Antonio for Brant's Tball tournament.

Brant's Tball team made it to the state tournament. The tournament is in a little town outside of San Antonio called Shertz.  Billy was in Portugal on his yearly mission trip and he was not able to come. We missed him so much. We ended up getting 3rd place, but we played so hard. Brant had good hits and played catcher and outfield. Because we made 3rd place we qualified for the World Series in Louisiana!!! Brant would fall asleep every time we would load up and head to his game. It was only about a 20 min drive, but he would go fast to sleep.

We had fun in San Antonio. We stayed close to the River Walk and the Alamo.  When we went to San Antonio last year, the boys wanted to do the mirror maze, but we did not have anytime, but we did this time. It was so much fun. They even had a laser obstacle course at the end. The boys loved it.

20 weeks

It has been a fun week! I was finally off of work for an entire week!!! We had more baseball games, moved more junk in, and the highlight of the week, we got to see the baby!!!

Brant won his tournament in North Richland Hills. It was a long weekend. We were there Saturday and Sunday. The fun part was he got to play catcher and short stop. The bad part was Sunday we had to play his best friends, Jake, Casen, and Preston's team.  We ended up beating them. They were so cute though. When they would get on base, they would smile and give each other high fives. We also got to eat at Bahama Bucks!! Finally! It has the best snow cones ever. We also stopped by Bosses pizza after the games on Sunday. The boys loved playing the old video games.

We think the baby is a boy! So we might be really surprised if it turns out to be a girl. Brant comes up with some funny names. He told us the other day that Zack was a good name.

Skittles also likes to lounge on the fire place on the back porch. We had a scary thing happen the other night. I was taking her outside to go to the bathroom and the big dogs from across the street started barking. Then, the German Shepard jumped over the fence and started barreling towards us!!! I screamed, "No" really loud and it stopped just short of the driveway. I was so scared! I picked up Skittles and ran inside!!

19 weeks

Week 19. We finally spent the first night in our house!!! Yay!! We did have some air conditioning issues though. It has gone out twice!!! Luckily it hs been easy fixes.

Brant won another tournament! His team is really good. Brant loves to play catcher and he looks so cute when he puts on all the gear. Slade is having fun too. He has made friends with some of the older brothers on the team, so he runs around during the games.

We played the tournament on Father's Day, and after we won, we went back to Mere and Poppy's house to swim. The boys wanted to get billy a card that had a dog with a six pack on it that read, "We are glad you are part of our pack." But I wouldn't let them. It was funny though.

We also went to Walmart one day and Brant wanted to wear his shirt up on his belly. He looked like a rag a muffin.

My stomach is getting so big! I can still fit in most of my clothes, but they are getting snug!!

24 weeks!

This week I have really been able to feel like I am pregnant. My stomach is getting bigger, it is harder to sleep and I am so so tired.  The good part about it is the baby is moving like crazy. It is so much fun to experience. Last week, Slade felt the baby kick. He was happy, he was the last person to feel it move.

I am trying to keep up my running, but I find that if I take off a day, I have so much more energy.

It has been a slow week. We have not done much except hang around the house.  The boys and I did go to the water park and they rode the Flo Rider. They were so brave! Slade wiped out, but Brant held steady. Slade also started football conditioning camp this week. He said he loves doing the drills and running at the end.
