Holy moly socks

Brant took off his shoe the other night and this is what his sock looked like!! I think we need to buy some new ones... He likes really thin socks so his shoes don't feel so bunchy, but they tear a lot easier. 

Tryouts! Spring 2016

The boys had baseball tryouts this past weekend. Brant was so pumped up! I think Slade was a little nervous. Slade did so well though, he hit all 3 pitches and fielded all 3 balls. Brant acted like he owned the place. The guy in the picture instructing everyone was one of Slade's coaches.  He knows Brant and when he was calling out the players names for tryouts, he saw Brants, and said, "Oh Man, Brant Mathis." Brant caught the fly balls and made great throws to 1st. We could not be more proud of our boys!!

Word find frenzy!!

This holiday Slade got the bug to make a football word find for us all to enjoy. Well, that started a fire with Brant and he wanted to make a ton! We all sat around and completed word find after word find. 

Headbandz

We got headbandz for the boys for Christmas. They love to play it and Brant is so funny. He likes to cheat and look at the car before he sticks and on his headband. Then he will ask us a question that totally has to do with what's on his head. He had train on his headband in the first question he asked us was, "Am I on a train track?"

Fishin

We took the boys fishing at the little pond by our house. They were so excited to get the poles out and clean them and find the hooks. Slade did a great job casting and reeling in, Brant had a little more trouble. As we were leaving Slade said he wanted to catch a catfish. Billy said it would take more time fishin... He laughed and said, "it's not called catchin." Slade thought that was so funny.  

SNOW!!!

It finally looks like Christmas two days after Christmas. We woke up today to snow snow snow! We probably got about 3 inches or so. It was such good snow too. The boys loved to build snowman's and play outside. They played so much we had to go to academy and get them better and gloves for the snow. The boys even made a snowman called "Strong arm Snowman." He had huge arms and they even gave him snow muscles.
