Bowling!

Over Thanksgiving we went bowling. The boys love to go to Main Event and play games and bowl. Brant actually won the first game and beat Slade by 2 points!!! It was pure luck because Brant bowled a strike on the 10th frame and Inge was able to try again. Slade was so mad. I of course lost... We had a great time. 

We love Christmas!

The boys love how Walmart counts down the days until Christmas. Brant actually saw it first and then he showed it to Slade. Brant is so funny, he will ask me a million times how many days left... I always remind him about the Walmart sign.

Flag football!

Slade and Brant started flag football this past week. Brant was so excited because he finally got to play. He woke up on Saturday and told Billy that it was the best day of his life. He would not fall asleep that Friday night, he was asking me all types of questions about what he would do during halftime and if he was going to get to run through a run-through sign. He has never been so excited. 

Slade was super pumped too. He is on a different team this year with his friend Sam. Billy is helping with the defense and Slade loves it.  Slade wanted to play the whole game, but he had to switch out and he got mad. It was so cute. The other day Slade had a game at 5, and the weather was horrible. I just knew it was going to be cancelled, but the second he got off the bus the first thing he asked me was if his game was cancelled. I think he secretly wanted to play in the mud. It was a fast game. The wind was blowing so hard, the rain was coming down and then the lighting started. They ended up calling the game after 40 min., but we won!!! 6-0. It was great! Brant has a little buddy that is always there. His name is Gavin. Brant was so upset the other day that he did not see him, but then he showed up and he got instantly excited. 

We also started this thing with them that if they pulled a flag they got $1, scored a touchdown $5, interception $3, and then a pick 6 was $8. Slade got very competitive and pulled 4 flags in one game! He even ran the ball a few times and scored a touch down!!! 

Sleepy time Tea

Brant loves sleepy time tea. He was so funny, last night he took a sip and then said, "Man, I am sleepy." What a ham!!!

Happy Halloween 2015

For Halloween we went over to the Krall's house.  I was so excited because Billy for once got to go with us trick-or-treating. Halloween fell on a Saturday this year. We have gone over to the Krall's house before and they have a hayride and we go around their neighborhood trick-or-treating. The boys have so much fun. And they think it is so great to ride on the back of the trailer and then get off and run to the houses. Brant was captain America this year and Slade was a ninja. Little Brooks came over from next-door. He's had so much fun playing baseball with the boys that he was a baseball player.

Yahtzee

Family game night. Brant was so lucky and scored three Yahtzees! Slade came in a close 2nd, and drew some pretty funny pictures on his score card. Daddy came in last with a whopping 136. I came in 3rd. It was so much fun!

Way to go Camo!!!!

Slade's baseball team won 2nd place in the tournament last night. It is really amazing. We have come so far. They had to play a tournament game at 6, and then if they won, they played again. Well they won the first game 9-2, so they had to play again. They were neck and neck until the 5th inning. It was 10-10 and the other team was up to bat. They ended up scoring 5 runs. The score was 15-11. We got one run and then 2 strike outs. We ended up losing 15-11. The game lasted until 10:45!!! It was super late, but Slade got a trophy! Brant was so excited. He was so jealous too. He asked Slade if he could have 2 of his trophys. He wants a trophy so badly. Brants team ended up losing in the tournament the game before the championship game. He did not get a trophy.
