Aledo vs Mississippi
We had our first home game this Friday night. Cayden rode home with Slade so we could take him to the football game. The boys love it because we get to go in the special way into the field and stay down on the field for as long as we want. They waive their friends in the stands and they think they are so cool. It is so cute. In their other favorite thing to do is go on the field after the game and run up-and-down it. Aledo ended up winning 10 to 6. It was a nailbiter of a game.
Sweetest Letter
Now that Slade is getting older and realizes that Billy is a big deal in our community he is starting to embrace it. I was going through his folder and I saw what he had done at school that day. He had to write a letter and he wrote it to Billy. He said that he thinks it's awesome that he's a coach. It melts my heart because they just love Billy so much. He is just the best dad ever. They roughhouse, wrestle and play all night long.

1st day of 2nd grade!
Slade had a great first day of school. He was so excited to be back. He said they had a toothpaste challenge. They had to squeeze a whole role of toothpaste, and then try to put it back in! He said it was impossible. He was also the 1st kid to move his clip to Gold! I am so proud of him!!!

Walmart must do
Every time we go to Walmart we have to look at the wrestlers. They had several new ones and Brant wants everyone of course.
Fall Ball!
The boys are in fall ball this fall. It is a very laid-back compared to spring baseball. Brant was so excited he got on his friend Jake's team, and Slade got coach Crumpler. The only problem with fall ball is it is so hot in August. We always have the chili pad at all the practices.
Aledo vs Cedar Park
First game of the season was last night. Aledo plays every first game at Baylor stadium. It is so much fun! We play Cedar Park and last year we won. This year, we lost. We did great the first half, but then the 2nd we stunk it up. I think all the boys cared about was seeing their friends and playing. Billy was not too happy.

Church Shenanigans
Brant threw a major fit the other day when we went to church. He has not been wanting to go into his classroom and he acted like a two year old. He would not go in, so we had him sit with us in church. He did great, except he wiggled a lot and made a few loud noises.
