Rodeo Time
It is Stockshow time in Fort Worth! We are fortunate enough to have our next door neighbor, Brian, because he works the rodeo, and got us in for free!! He is a Fort Worth Police officer and he even gave the boys a ride in his car!! They loved it. The boys had fun looking at all the tractors and animals. The rodeo was a little long for Slade, but Brant enjoyed it. He was sitting two seats down from me and I could not get him to move closer to me because he just loved watching the events. After the rodeo, we went to the carnival. I am so proud of Slade, he did all the rides Ty did. I was very nervous because he wanted to do the swings. Not too bad of a ride, but I did not want him to panic. It started out slow and then it got faster. You could see Slade's face change from happy to scared to panic then back to happy again. After he got off, he wanted to go again. He is so brave!!!

Brant the red nose baby...
My Brant... He is just a mess. I thank God for him everyday, but he is a handful. We went over to my friend Kristie's house one night when Billy was scouting and she has a huge playroom up stairs. I get nervous because Brant does not know about stairs and how to come down them safely, but rest assured this picture is not because of a fall down the stairs. Brant loves football, especially TACKLING, and guess what..., he decided to tackle his friend Bryson, and ended up with a bloody nose... What is even more crazy is that he did not shed one tear.... He is tough!!! I also got a cute picture of the boys... Slade, Will, Brant, and Bryson.

November love
Brant loves to build towers.
Then knock them down!
The other day, Brant got real sneaky. We were at my parent's house and he closed the door to the living room. We went into the kitchen and he had gotten down the Nestle Quik and was using a spoon to just eat the powder. Then, at home, he climbed in our pantry and was eating the marshmallows!! He loves his sweets!!!!
Go Godley Wildcats! We made it to the 2nd round in the playoffs this year, and then lost to Tatum. It was very sad, but the boys LOVE football season. Here Slade is holding up his "W"!
My sweet love bugs!
Now with Coach!
TACKLE!
Trophy Time!
Haircuts and Halloween
Happy Halloween!!
We got Brant a Spiderman costume and he looks great!!
Slade wanted to be a pirate, so I bought him a Jake and the Neverland Pirate's costume. I thought he would fit in the 4yr-6yr size, but I was wrong... He looks like a ballet dancer. Billy had a fit about how small it was.
Sooo.... Billy took him to Target and bought him his 2nd costume of the season.. A Ninja Turtle!!! He looks tough now!!!
The Pirate costume was just Brant's size. :)
Brant and his two best friends!! Pocohantas and Scooby Doo. Aka... Marysa and Zane.
I cut the boy's hair, they were getting a little shaggy..
Slade's new cut.
Brant all trimmed up!

Our life in a nutshell. September-October
We are off and running with school. Brant had to create a place mat with picture of our family. He absolutely LOVES it. He did not want to leave it at school. The teachers laminated it and then they eat on it every day. He thinks he is a football man, so he just had to put all football pictures on it.

This is the funniest picture of Brant. His teachers made a laminated sheet of all the kids in his class, and this is the picture they chose. Billy thinks he looks like "The Shining."

The big cow on FM 1187. We had to have a picture.
Brant thinks he is a "Football Man" as he calls it. We found this uniform and he asks to wear it daily. Also, before we go to sleep at night, he prays for the football mans, the wildcat, helmets, footballs, basically anything to do with football.
Touchdown!!!
I have had the opportunity to eat lunch with Slade a few times during the school year. He always wants his friend Cole to eat with us.
Slade CAN READ!!!! This was his first book that he read!!! Yay!! We are so proud.
Brant on picture day. I fixed his hair and his friend Marysa walked up to him and patted his hair. I think they are all used to his wild hair.

Football,Football, Football!!
Football is here and Slade and Brant couldn't be more excited! They love to go to the games. Slade is actually starting to get the game and will tell me when we get a first down and what direction we need to go to get a touch down. Brant just likes watching the football players and seeing the big wildcat that they run through. Last game, the mascot wildcat scared Brant to death and he will not get close to him. Brant was on the bleachers and I saw the wildcat approaching and Brant screamed and tried to jump off the stairs!! Good thing I caught him. He also does not like the trainer Duke. Duke has a big red beard and Brant will see him on the field and say, "There is Duke." He will not get close to him!! Brant is also so in LOVE with football. When we go to sleep at night he prays every night for the wildcat, the football man, and the coach house. My mom took him to see Billy the other night when I was out of town and he told her, "This is the coach house, where my daddy lives."
Brant
He is soo silly!! He put on Poppy's glasses!
He likes to hid in the covers.
And he likes to dance!!!
